INCA-MAYAMUSEUM

About the Inca-Maya Museum

  • Inca, Maya Museum

Walk along the road in Jeongok-ri, Gaeun-eup, and Mungyeong-si with magnificent mountains until a tranquil rural village comes into your view. You will see villagers working hard in the morning to remove weeds here and there. With their kind guidance, you will cross the bridge and from a distance, you will see a sign that says, ‘Camino Real’. Beyond the sign, you will see a familiar-looking elementary school building.
The school houses the Inca-Maya Museum and camping site. The museum was established by a former Korean ambassador to Bolivia and his wife with their private cost to promote the Central and South American culture. The museum preserves their life of living for tens of years in Central and South America. Outside the museum, you will see trees providing cool shadows, where you can take a rest after visiting the museum. You can now travel to Central and South America full of passion!
