Purpose of Establishment & Mission of Agency

Mungyeong was promoted to Mungyeong City in accordance with the Law No. 4774 of January 1, 1995 by incorporating Jeomchon-si and Mungyeong-gun. We aim to invigorate the regional economy, promote welfare for the citizens, ensure advanced administration services, and embrace cultural tourism. With such goals to create Mungyeong as the city of cultural tourism wellness, some 900 officials at Mungyeong City Government performed their jobs. The details are featured in the guidance on jobs.

  • Legal Basis of Local Government

    1. Local government shall treat businesses belonging to local municipalities according to the local business law within its jurisdiction.
