About the Traditional Korean Paper

Mungyeong traditional Korean paper is manually produced. Such particular production process and declining demand make it difficult to produce traditional Korean paper. Amid these challenging situations, Mungyeong still adheres to the traditional production method by using only buckwheat straw ash water. Various types of Korean paper are produced for different purposes.
The Mungyeong traditional Korean paper was requested to be presented, along with its production process, to an international seminar hosted by the Louvre Museum in France. For this reason, the Mungyeong Korean Paper Crafter's assistant presented the process. In addition, Mungyeong traditional Korean paper was selected as the database standard for traditional Korean paper by the Louvre Museum, thus proving its excellence.
We only use Korean-produced mulberry tree, hibiscus, clear water, and ample sunshine to produce and supply fine-quality traditional Korean paper to the users.
